Splashes of NEON

Hey Ladies,
finally back in Germany. Though Technology is already driving me nuts again. EVERYTIME (swear Im not exaggerating!!!), everytime I visit my Mum her Inet-connection crashes -.- And even when it works, it is so goddamn slow that i feel like i can watch myself aging. Plus, what is up with that freakishly cold weather?! I only packed summer stuff. I mean, yeah today it wasnt like freezing but yesterday...OMG I was about to unpack one of my mums wintercoats as i was freezing my butt off! CRAAAAZYYY!
A few more weeks in Austria/Germany and then I am finally off to Sweden :-) Can't wait to start my Masters degree in Fashion Management and meet all those fabulous people from around the world. As we speak of the world, right after my graduation in 2013 I plan a seriously long and exotic holiday as I haven't been anywhere close to a beach for ages!!! Right now I am thinking of South Africa, Thailand/Vietnam or Japan?! Any recommendations? I'd preferably have a beach somewhere near (going there by car would be ok as well) and I don't want to be in Europe a.k.a I want to be on another continent ^^ If you have any ideas, throw em at me haha
Ok now I've got to go and grab dinner...I can already feel the pounds on my hips piling on. But then again, this always happens when I visit my Mum or grandma (u know how they always say "kid youre too skinny u gotta eat something, why dont u take another plate bla bla bla...who could say no to that LOLz)

Wishlist: JUNE

So this is what I wish for atm! Don't know why but recently I've been obsessed with Essie nailpolishes (or polish in genereal...need to get those horrible nails fixed HA!) and also jewelry! If u ask me, it is the jewelry that makes an outfit and really helps dressing it up or down! And as of now I am obsessing over bracelets mostly. I think I've already mentioned it on the Blog once, but I am not the earing kinda gal. I just can't get past the thought that I look absolutely ridiculous with earrings...even though I'd love wearing them. I just don't like the way 99.99% of all earrings look on me. I am also not that big of a necklace person, unless they're really filigree and not chunky whatsoever...unless, of course, they involve studs. I love everything with studs. I guess I'll always be a tiny punk at heart :-) But I do loooove rings (have tons of them!) and more recently I've been hooked on bracelets as well....so there you go, this is what I'd love to have atm:

Nailpolish Essie: Sew Psyched, Navigate Her, All tied Up

One thing I also really want to have are new Ray Ban sunglasses. I already have the original Wayfarer ones in Black but my favourite design is actually the Ray Ban Clubmaster. However, it seems almost impossible to get here in Vienna, plus they are like crazy expensive (talking about 160€ girls!)...hmmm MAYBE, just maybe I can get me some for my Bday in August?! Then again, I need new shoes as well...Dayum! After years of Festivals and nasty weather my Converse shoes are about to give up and I really like these Palladium ones because they are all black. And I'll be attending Frequency Festvial this year, so I definitely need the shoes in case the weather sucks. I REALLY NEED them haha you know what I mean don't ya?!

Soooo relieved to finally have this degree in my pocket and never ever have to think about an exam like that again HAHA celebrations it is! Last few days I've been rocking Viennas Club Scene, today is no excusion!

By the way, as a treat for myself I bought Essie's "Fifht Avenue" and this red is to die for. It is not your classical red but more of a red with an orange hint to it, like tomatoes I would say. It looks absolutely gorgeous on my toes, I intend to wear this color all summer long...well at least on my toes. On another topic, my nails are completely ruined haha I don't know why, I was so anxious and nervous this whole time before the final exam and I started biting my nails (something I haven't done since...well Elementary schhon!) and they look horryfying now..well what's left of them HAHAHA OMG!
Anyways, gotta go now, Nina and I check out the Backyard Sale Event at our favourite Club Pratersauna!

Orly: Feel the Vibe

So I did it. Couldn't help it! Couldn't resist! I've been lusting for the Orly Feel the Vibe collection ever since I first heard of it and it didn't help that as of now I am completely and utterly obsessed with neon nail polish. And it also didn't help that everyone who got a hold of any of the colors was raving about it. So there you go: I JUST HAD TO BUY THEM! Luckily for me, as I couldn't decide for just one color and didn't want to spent a fortune, I got a package with all 4 of them, just that the bottles are smaller. However, for a nailpolish addict like me this isn't a big deal and actually a good thing as I have so many nailpolishes that they might would have dried out anyways, I mean lets face it, you can only wear them during summertime. Like usual, I got the polishes via Beautybag, they now permamently ship worldwide for free!
Oh boy, I can't wait to finally have them though I already know I'll get in trouble cuz I won't be able do decide which one to put on first haha

Surf WorldCup 2012 ... and stuff

Just a bunch of random pics from the weekend :)
Most of them were taken Friday when I had the honor of wearing a special guest band at the annual Surf Worldcup Opening at Podersdorf. The weather treated us nicely and I had a great deal of fun partying with my friend Ines...though I have to admit next time I better bring sunscreen with me...FAIL lol
Anyways, in the pics u see my stash of make up I brought with me to get styled for the night parties...nothing more fun then getting your makeup done in a car with bad lighting, I ended up looking like a racoon and like I had put on different things on each half of my face...HILARIOUS :-D
I also wore my new shoes from F21, 5 € and I already feel like they are an investment for lifetime, IF they survive that long haha. Nailpolish is from Essie, Mint Candy Apple. Got it with my last Glossybox and I have to say I really dig the color and it has amazing staying power. Put on Friday morning and it still looks perfectly, and we all know its an amazing color right?!

Nubar "Indigo Illusion" & Essence "Hello Holo"

You guys won't believe what happened...I literally forgot all my clothes at home. So right now I am left with my cheap monday sweater, a blouse, my black sweater from yesterday's post plus striped blouse and sweatpants for sleeping and undergarments for almost 2 weeks!!! INSANITY! my suitcase was stuffed with presents for my sisters and brothers (got 2 of each so loads of presents haha) so i just threw in named things and then made two "packages" of clothes. One for the things i leave in vienna and one for the clothes i intended to bring with me. And what happened? Stupid me left them lying on the couch. So tomorrow I have to go shopping to Hanover or else I am naked around christmas night 'cause i am all out of clothes haha THANK GOD there's a Primark and Gina Tricot store so I won't have to spend all my money on clothing as I want to buy a new camera :-)
My outfit here: Cheap Monday Sweater, Mens blouse, Grey pants from my sis (the only ones that fit me hehe) and some black high heels. Oh, and of course my lovely golden clutch from Nelly!
Tomorrow, Nina will do her Manic Monday post, I can't wait to see what she's coming up with this time :-)

Xmas Nails

So apparently this is what happens when I am actually supposed to learn:

So right now I should learn for my upcoming Exportmanagement exam on Tuesday but my motivation level is below zero I guess. I don't know, it is christmas in 2 weeks, why do university exams always have to be around this time?! So unfair if you ask me! Anyways, thank god I am very quickly at learning and hopefully motivation will find its way back to me sometime in the afternoon haha
So instead i painted my nails: I wear H&M "Gold" Nailpolish which is BY FAR my favourite gold as it is suuuupereasy to apply and dries very quickly. On top of that is Essence's "Hello Holo" and on top of that is Essence's "Make it golden"...talk about layering haha :D

seems like summer has gone on vacation since it is cloudy and rainy ever since we're back from our little vacation. Just because sun has decided to stay out of the "spotlight" for a little while doesn't mean summer has to be over and we can't enjoy it. In the end it are little things that keep our mind uplifted...for example painting your nails in all colors imaginable :) So i decided to post 5 of my current favourite nail polishes. I am a sucker when it comes to nailpolish...i just can't get by a month without buying at least one new color. I can hardly remember the last time my nails were "au naturel" :D
You might as well also enjoy a few more pics from our trip to Velden. It definitely is the most beautiful place in Austria!
