Parmesan Basel Crackers

So today I was in the mood for baking...you know, some people do yoga to relax, I bake someting. Usually it ends up being Muffins or a fruit cake but today I was in the mood for something salty. So I looked through some recipes on one of my favourite Blogs and stumbled across an supereasy recipe for Parmesan and Thyme Crackers. The origianl recipe is here.
It is supereasy and quick and I almost had all of the ingredients at home except for Thyme, which I do not like that much anyways so I switched to Basel.
The recipe is American, hence everything is measured in ounces or cups but here's what i took:

Around 130 gramms of Butter (needs to be slightly warm and creamy!!!)
150 gramms of Wheat (I took an all purpose one)
100 gramms of Parmesan cheese (i mixed a packed one with some fresh left overs)
Salt and Pepper and dried Basel from the Supermarket
A tiny amount of water mixed with half a teaspoon of oliveoil to keep the whole thing from crumbling into pieces plus it makes work much easier :))

Just mix everything together and put it in the fridge for about an hour. Then form some round crackers and put them in the oven for about 15-20 minutes. Just let them in there until they are light brown! Et voila, you have some super delicious Crackers. They go perfectly with any salad and I am sure they'll go perfectly with my tomato soup that I intend on eating for dinner tonight :))

Family Affair

 So as I mentioned earlier, my family (well part of it, u know, my appartment is only as big..) will spend the next few days with me and I am so estatic. We had a wonderful day eating ice cream and doing some touristy style sightseeing :-)
If you'll ever come to visit Vienna during summer time I totally recommend paying a visit to the famous "Tichy" ice cream shop, there is a reason why it's so famous! Tomorrow we'll do some shopping, eat Pasta at Vapiano and afterwards get some cupcakes. All in all i predict a great week, IF the weather will stay that nice...fingers crossed.

Bagels & Cheesecake

So today my sis and I went shopping and I definitely consider myself successful haha Hannover is actually quite a cool place to spend your cash. Pictured above is what we ate at Mac Café, I love Bagels and Blueberries :-)
So I bought myself a new foundation and THE MOST AMAZING lipstick of all times, I know for a fact this one will become my all time favourite. It's limited edition though so I am thinking of buying some more!
I also got some fancy pants from Zara and H&M, as well as a new watch and bag from Primark, a babypink sweater from Mango (already have dozens of outfits in my mind!) and some superfabulous shoes (H&M as well). I don't know if I will post all the things I've bought as you are already about to see some of it in tomorrows outfit post. Might dedicate an entire post to the lipstick though, I just love it too much. Right now I wear it on my lips, dressed in my pyjamas haha

As you guys might have noticed...WE LOVE FOOD! Nina is not the only one who's planning on cooking and baking a lot more this autumn/fall. The last days I've been on a hunt for new delicious recipes for cakes, cookies, burgers, sandwiches etc. and I can't wait to try one or another out. A site I can really recommend is foodwhore! On friday we went to the Pure Living Bakery in the 13th district of Vienna - we definetly have to go there again as soon as possible. It was really hard to decide what to take, because they have so many different kinds of cakes, cookies, waffels etc. It's like paradise :-). We also took some outfit photos in the streets, which is always funny - and always so surprising how different every district of Vienna looks. The area around the Bakery looks more like a small town or village. So we were just strolling around taking photos and enjoying the sun!

Hey guys,
as promised here are a few more pictures from my b'day picnic, organised by my beloved friend Nana. I really enjoyed that lunch combined with delicious champaign and we also had a lot of luck with the weather. All in all i had THE perfect birthday. Afterwards we strolled trough the city and Nana bought me a huge ice cream cone. Banana, coconut, vanilla and melon are my favourites! I am really looking forward to the next year of my life and all the awesome things still to come and can't wait to repeat that picnic next year. I love you Nana. Thanks for being such a great friend <3
